Prior Experience
Voted by his peers a Houston Top Doc from 2019 to 2021, Dr. Stevens' recent leadership positions include Chief of Outpatient Services, Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Menninger Clinic, and Associate Professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Stevens was Physician-in-Charge at Henry Ford Health Systems' Dearborn Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University in Detroit. He also served as the Medical Director of the pediatric psychiatry inpatient unit at North Shore Medical Center, Lynn, Massachusetts.
Education
Dr. Stevens completed his residency and fellowship in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, Boston. He earned his medical degree and a master's degree in Public Health from New York Medical College and his bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College.
Dr. Stevens is Triple Board-Certified

Dr. Stevens has been a frequent guest on Fox 26 News and Khou 11 in Houston, and has appeared nationally on PBS' "Second Opinion." He was the Founder and Editor of "Mind Matters from Menninger," a weekly blog on Psychology Today.
